Raspberry Rolls and Christmas Gifts

This is the last week to order until Jan. 8. I will not be baking on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1.

Mini loaves are available and make great Christmas gifts! Honey Whole Wheat and Harvest White $1.25, Cinnamon Swirl $1.50 and Sweet Breads are $2.00. Cranberry Orange, Pumpkin, Almond Poppy seed and Double Chocolate Mint Bread just some of the choices. Check out our website for more. These are available by special order only. Special orders have a $20 minimum and need 72 hrs. notice. The last day I will be baking is Sat, Dec. 22. Don't forget about our gourmet popcorns too! Caramel, Candy Cane, Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Kettle Corn. These come bagged with personalized tags and are $1 a bag. These have the same special order requirements.

Christmas in a Cookie

 Iced Cranberry White Chocolate Cookies have so many layers of flavor, it's hard to know where to begin. As you first eat the cookie your mouth is excited by the array of textures. Fresh and dried cranberries, crunchy pecans, and creamy white chocolate. Then you begin to notice the different notes of flavor hitting your tongue, cranberry, nuts, white chocolate, orange, cinnamon, and a hint of nutmeg, and as if all of this weren't enough, lemon vanilla icing drizzled over the top. Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

I LOVE pumpkin cookies. Cookies, in general, are a weakness for me and soft plump pumpkin cookies irresistible. I began my quest to find the perfect pumpkin cookie recipe years ago. I would have some one's cookies and think that they were good and so I'd get the recipe, but always there was something missing. They never were the "perfect" mix for me. That is until the day I was given these cookies. I was given a cute bag with three in it from a friend of mine. I tried one and was hooked right way. Not only did it have the perfect blend of pumpkin, cinnamon, and other fall spices, but it had chocolate chips and cream cheese frosting! I tried to pace myself, but I couldn't stop and they were gone in an hour.

Orange Rolls

Our weekly special for Sept. 18 is Orange Rolls. Our Orange Rolls are made with our super soft sweet dough and have a dreamy orange filling. They are unlike any Orange Roll that you've had before. Root Beer Cookies & Caramel Iced Brown Sugar Cookies

This week's special is two different, but very yummy, cookies!
When you first see our Root Beer Cookies you might think your mind is playing a trick on you and you think, "Hey, those look like chocolate", but do not be deceived.  These super soft cookies are root beer through and through!  The cookie is a mild root beer and is good by it self, but when the root beer icing is put on it... WOW, you don't want to miss it!
The Caramel Iced Brown Sugar Cookies start with a puffy, soft brown sugar cookie with pecans.  The pecans provide the perfect combination of soft and crunch in every bite.  The top of the cookie is then dipped in caramel icing and then dipped in crushed pecans.  Mild cookie+caramel icing+chopped pecans= PERFECT COMBINATION!

Cinnamon Raisin Bread

This week I am introducing Cinnamon Raisin Bread. If having a slice of cinnamon raisin toast with butter or cream cheese in the morning with a glass of orange juice sounds like the perfect way to start the day, then you definitely have to try our Cinnamon Raisin bread. This light wheat bread is bursting with raisins, a whole cup in each loaf!! The cinnamon is Vietnamese cinnamon, which is known for being the sweetest cinnamon, while having a robust spiciness that can't be missed in each slice. Make a sandwich with it, or just grab a piece for a quick snack. Whatever time of day you eat some, things will be looking up when you are done!
